The 23rd Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards was absolutely AMAZING as we celebrated many of the best performances in entertainment. SAG is the first major guild to announce its nominations before Oscar nominations balloting begins. Being apart of one of the top award shows in entertainment is truly an honor. As a Beauty Expert of 18 years, it was indeed an honor to provide hair & makeup services for the 5th year in a row along with my team for the red carpet and on the red carpet. Seeing it firsthand, the most beautiful gowns, tuxedos, jewelry, hair & makeup live & in person in honor of many of the most talented actors in the world… is quite an amazing experience. The highlight of the evening was celebrating the well-deserved Sag Award for the amazing movie “Hidden Figures” starring Taraji P. Henson, Janelle Monet & Octavia Spencer. Ryan Gosling for "La La Land", John Lithgow for his amazing roll in "The Crown". Experiencing Denzel Washington’s dynamic presence beyond the screen was also quite an honor as he accepted his award for his dynamic performance and leading role in "Fences". Among many of our favorite stars, Meryl Streep, Emma Stone, the cast of Moonlight, Millie Bobby Brown, Viola Davis, Natalie Portman & more all came together to accept well-deserved awards for such dynamic performances.
