Decorators Showcase for a Cause...

I had the wonderful pleasure of visiting my hometown "Dallas/Fort Worth Texas" for a wonderful cause & occasion as a group of amazing Interior Designers host a showcase benefiting the Alzheimer's Association. The visit home to Texas was well worth every frequent flyer mile. The Dallas Decorators Showcase debuted their newest craftsmanship in the beautiful Southlake Texas. A place that is truly All Things Beauty. An area that is not only filled with beautiful custom luxury homes, great shopping, awesome restaurants & gorgeous green landscapes, but most of all it is a place that is filled with lots of warm love & southern hospitality. From the moment I arrived to Southlake, TX I anticipated excellence as we drove through the neighborhood of breathtaking architect designs; many of the most finest quality custom built homes in the state of Texas. Beautiful houses were stretched for blocks as each one stood alone uniquely designed surrounded by gorgeous landscaping. Each home gives something different; yet each share a feel of warmth and luxury. Once I arrived to the Dallas Show House, I knew this one was even more special. The exterior is very inviting and will immediately have you wanting to take a look inside.

As I entered to take in all of its beauty, I was welcomed warmly from Los Angeles by my fellow Texans with lots of genuine love, extraordinary talent & again fine southern hospitality. We topped off All Things Beauty with a glass of Moet while admiring all of the stunning designs throughout the beautiful home. Although a visitor, I felt right at home. I somehow knew this home had a special story to tell and it did. It is 7,938 sq ft on 1.5 acres of land. It has a gorgeous, cozy master suite, a guest suite and 3 bedrooms, each with its own bathroom. It has two separate 2-car garages for his & hers parking, a sparkling pool and three separate courtyards. It is filled with lots of unique features & stunning accents.

I so enjoyed getting to know the interior designers while admiring the essence of their work & their magnificent craftsmanship. We shared a few things in common, most of all the love for fine art, design & luxury. The event hostess was designer Donna Moss, former contestant on HGTV's "Design Star" & host of HGTV's"Donna Decorates Dallas". There were numerous gifted designers apart of this amazing project such as "Ruthie Staalsen" owner of Ruthie Staalsen Interiors, "Kara Cox" owner of Kara Cox Interiors, Troy Rhone known around the world for his beautiful garden exteriors, Traci Zeller, Krissa Rossbund - Sr. Style Editor at Traditional Home, Shay Geyer of IBB Design & more ...
